What's the kindest thing an ex has ever done for you after a split?

A few favourites from the original thread:
• One person's ex drove them hours through awful traffic to say goodbye to their dad who had just passed away—an incredible gesture they still treasure.
• Another shared how their ex flew from China to Australia within three days to be by their bedside after a stroke, even though they were divorced.
• And someone else joked their ex's best kindness was behaving so badly they never missed them!

    One that always stuck with me was from my mate's parents. They divorced ages ago but still slept by each other's beds when one was in hospital. And my own dad made sure my mum got extra money for us even though they weren't together. Proper decent, that.

    My ex did me a solid by telling me I'd be better off with her best friend. Bit awkward at first, but we ended up getting married this year, so I guess she was right 😅
