What's your favorite dish at an American Chinese restaurant? 🥟

A few favourites from the original thread:
• Mongolian beef—someone said it probably has nothing to do with actual Mongolia, but it's ridiculously tasty.
• General Tso's chicken was another top pick, with one fan calling it simply 'so good'.

I'm a sucker for kung pao. That little kick of heat with the peanuts, can't beat it. I know it's probably nothing like what they eat in China, but honestly don't care, it's my go-to every time.

Orange chicken all the way. It's basically sweet and sour but better, and I love that it comes with those little orange peel bits. Perfect comfort food for a film night.

I always get the egg foo young. It's basically a fluffy omelette with gravy, and it's so easy to recreate at home when I'm too tired to cook proper. My beagle goes nuts for the smell though.

I've got to go with the classic, sweet and sour pork. My kids love the bright red sauce, and my wife and I have been ordering it since our first date. It's not fancy, but it's the one dish that never lets you down. I also really appreciate what that commenter said about Chinese-American food being just as good as traditional. There's this place near us that does both menus, and honestly I order from both sides depending on the mood. Sometimes you just want that crispy, saucy stuff.
