Thinking about getting an iPhone Duo? How's it working out for current owners?

A few favourites from the original thread:
• One person said they really miss FaceID.
• Another found the outer screen surprisingly nice for one-handed use.

My Apple Watch handles most of the unlock stuff anyway, so I barely notice not having FaceID. The phone itself is solid though, especially the outer screen for quick replies one-handed.

Honestly I never got the FaceID hype. Mine failed all the time and I’d have to hold it weird. TouchID on this thing works almost every time for me, so I’m good with the trade.

yeah I feel you on that, the button confirmations are a bit of a drag compared to just looking at it. Still a good phone though.

Funny how different it is for people. I had the opposite problem – FaceID was super reliable on my old phone, but TouchID on this one misses a lot. Having to tap the button for payments is way more annoying than I expected.

The little outer screen is actually my favorite part. It fits perfect in one hand and feels really natural to use for texts or checking the time. At home I mostly keep it unfolded though, just feels great that way. I came from a 17 Pro Max and honestly don’t miss much except the camera. The weight isn’t an issue for me either. Only bummer is my MagSafe wallet doesn’t fit anymore.
