A hotel front desk worker shared a story about a guest who strutted in like he owned the place, claiming he'd booked the entire floor for his group. The worker checked and found nothing under his name—turns out a buddy had reserved a single standard king room through a discount travel site that same afternoon. When told it was just one room, the guest demanded a manager, insisted he books the whole floor every year, and even dropped a “do you know who I am.” The worker calmly explained there was no upgrade or late checkout available. After handing over the key, a few of the guest's companions were already outside on their phones looking for other options. He ended up in a room beside the ice machine. 😅 Has anyone else dealt with a guest whose story didn't quite match the reservation?
